ATD Competency
I have taken the ATD Talent Development self-assessment. As someone who does not have prior background in distance education and e-learning, I found the assessment to be too ahead of my pace. Too many questions made me aware of my limited knowledge of the discipline.
The overall score for me is 34%.

My strengths lie in building personal capability, with the three highest scores on communication, cultural awareness and inclusion, and lifelong learning.
I have many aspects of developing, especially professional capability and impacting organizational capability. The top three need further development of the two capabilities: career and leadership development, change management, and data and analytics.
My goal for this assessment is to be an e-learning professional. I have also chosen my learning plan based on the suggested materials.
The learning path helps me to progress better in areas that need improvement. Having all the checklists of the materials in my ATD account is also beneficial. Reading all the resources is in my short-term and medium-term goals, as it is more feasible to schedule the time for each material.
As I have yet to determine how long each course will take, I cannot detail the projected completion in my plan. However, taking some lessons and certification will boost my skills and confidence, which I aim for as I progress within the program.
